Position Summary
We are currently searching for a social media specialist and content writer, who will passionately contribute to our marketing activities in a variety of ways. Your main task is being responsible for our online presence: company’s website, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, and relevant online channels.
IT background is appreciated as it will help you with deeper understanding of what we do, and more effective communication with our technology-oriented targeted audience.

Responsibilities
- Generate, edit, publish and share creative content that builds relevant audience, meaningful connections, stimulates traffic, and creates service and brand awareness.
- Engage with targeted online communities.
- Maintain Spirula’s website content; news, blogs, etc..
- Work with Business development team on content planning for all social media and any online channels.
- Creating visual content to be used on all Spirula’s online presence is a plus.
Position Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of the main social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Google+).
- Familiarity of social media tools (e.g HootSuit or similars)
- Excellent command of written English.
- Ability to communicate with different audiences in both formal and informal way, in both English and Arabic.
- Familiarity with office software - word processing and spreadsheets.
- IT background - not necessarily an academic one.
The following is a plus:
- Usage of image processing softwares (e.g gimp, photoshop, illustrator, … ).
- Basic usage of wordpress or other blogging platforms.
- Basic SEO knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of online advertising platforms (e.g adwords)
- Basic knowledge of e-marketing techniques.

Notes
- This position requires physical presence in Spirula’s office in Alexandria, Egypt. This is not a remote job.
